The most intelligent people generally end up with the most money. And yes, they went overwhelmingly for Bush.

I completely disagree with your statement.

Wealth is not the be all and end all, in fact far from it I would say. There far more important things in life than money and when people come to realise that, I think they will be a lot happier. Money won't fill that whole inside of you, no matter how much you stuff inside it, it won't fix everything, it won't make things right.

Money doesn't make someone happy, which is why I would say that many of the most intelligent people in the world aren't rich, they are smart enough to realise this, that there are far more important things in life than this. Making a difference, be it moving the whole world, or just one person, it will make you feel a lot happier and better inside than accumulating wealth ever could which is why I say that intelligence and wealth aren't connected, because those who realise this are the smartest of all.

No, a bunch of idiots such as yourself inherit wealth, but the statistical truth is that the vast majority of wealth is earned, which requires real intelligence, and not a "post-graduate degree."

Philip - do you have data or link or source to support this statement?  This thread has a ring of a "data-free conversation".

Actually Philip I believe this isn't true, wealth is very unevenly distributed, far more so than income is which suggests that the most wealthy are far wealthier than those with a high income.
