Maybe Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Jeb Hensarling, or Marsha Blackburn.

How I see it is a younger VP candidate might persuade moderates concerned about age.  The strong conservative will motivate conservatives to actually go out and vote (I know plenty of Republicans who aren't sure whether they're voting or not).  This would only help McCain gain votes, and I don't see how it would cause a loss of votes.

People who are deciding between the Dem and McCain aren't going to be paying attention to the VP as much, but the ticket in general, which will look younger if a younger VP candidate is chosen.  Having a strong conservative will help motivate conservatives not sure about McCain get excited about the ticket and go vote.

Are you referring to Governors or congressmen/women?
Palin and Jindal would not be great choices at this time, just like Webb wouldn't be a good choice for Obama.

Someone young, but come on, lets find someone in atleast their second term people
Condi would be a good choice, but it won't happen.  She wouldn't abandon her Secretary of State post to run for VP.
