And I had looked at Virginia a long time ago and thought that it looked somewhat vulnerable.  I thought it was very wise to pull his campaign workers out of there, and Missouri and Arkansas, but he didn't seem to ever make much of an effort there.  Even if he couldn't win, he could have at least forced Bush to campaign on his own turf.  Those were 13 electoral votes...

I'm not saying he made a critical error, I'm just wondering what is logic was.  He campaigned in places like West Virginia and Missouri a few times which also leaned Bush.
