The people who are advocating BDS seem to think Israel is comparable to the Nazis, and viewpoint is what matters more than reality in terms of 1st Amendment protections.   Still, the messaging is not the greatest.

John Lewis is a cosponsor of this resolution.  He wouldn't have signed on to this if he thought it was anti-Semitic.     He's also a cosponsor of H.Res. 246, that expresses opposition to BDS, but avoids any action to prohibit it.
