It's generally seen in bad taste to retweet white nationalists in California. Is this normal for folks like yourself who reside in the former Confederacy?

Normal people most places do not pay much attention to who it is they are retweeting, unless it's like from Cher or Kermit the Frog or someone especially famous (assuming they engage in retweeting, which isn't an especially normal thing to begin with).  Most people, outside of very narrow demographics, pay more attention to content.

Riiiight, because it's unfair to judge Rohrabacher on the merits of this action when the rest of his behavior is just so stellar. Celebrating the deaths of Iranian civilians, suggesting we support Isis, shilling for Russia the second half of his career are certainly traits that demonstrate Rohrabacher's "content" (if you want to call his garbage views content) was nonsensical to begin with.

So you are just using this as ammunition against someone you have problems with for other reasons and don't really care about the tweet itself?  okey dokey then.

You're the one who shifted the conversation to the content itself. Not particularly surprising given that no reasonable person is gonna defend somebody giving a platform to a white nationalist. But hey, I guess thinking is different down south in Dixie.

Twitter is giving this guy a platform, as are you by introducing us to this fellow, along with Dana. That's 3 strikes for the enlightened avocado gods of the Golden State.

Tweets are about content. Normal people, as opposed to algorithms, read tweets and don't just look at who is being retweeted.

Oh I see. So because the almighty TwitterTM allows vile people to have a platform, we must accept it when our public officials further push vile people who peddle disgusting ideologies to the forefront. There's definitely nothing problematic with that being the norm. Can't wait to see the lovely societal repercussions of further normalizing white nationalism in American society.

better than turning the ad hominem fallacy into secular dogma through which anyone who quotes certain others on any topic whatsoever are castigated.

Please work on the grammar before you use big words. My small avacado brain can't handle it. Thank you.
