I agree with a lot of what you say Kevin, but then there are things every now and then that are really interesting and make it worthwhile.  Lots of ridiculous partisan spamhackery to be sure, but we do have a lot of smart and likeable posters here too (even if some of them can be jerks sometimes).   If you've got other things to do, that's cool, but maybe come back later if you are still interested and see if its better once the curse of the 2012 board has lifted.
