I withdrew my amendment - even though mine was first. Tongue
The text is fine, but I'd like to change to my title "Simultaneous Elections Amendment" so this doesn't sound like a criminal justice bill.

If the other amendment passes separately I really would like to change the name of this.

Aren't those two phrases the same? Tongue

Still, not a bad bill. I vote "Aye".

It is confusing at least. I change my vote to Nay.

Yes, sorry, I can see how it could be easy to miss.

I'm not sure if the language in this is redundant or if there's a distinction between the first and second sentences that is not obvious. I strongly encourage the Senate to clarify the language before sending it off to the people.
