Alright then, I've been thinking it might makes sense to consolidate our leadership positions. What do people think?

Our leadership positions are Chair, Vice Chair, Whip, Chief Director, and Secretary.
I would be willing to serve for a time in whichever role. However, if we want to just be an unhierarchical co-operative I'm good with that too.

Yeah, that latter option sounds much preferable.
Anyway, for what it's worth I'm not seeking any position.  God knows I'm divisive enough as it is, I don't want to cause any bad morale around here by being in a position of party authority.

alright - though personally I never found you too divisive.  in any case, does anyone else have an opinion on party leadership?   shall we do some endorsements for the upcoming election?

Since no one has asked for an endorsement, or expressed interest in having our party endorse anyone, I don't believe an endorsement vote is necessary.  However if anyone would still like to address the convention on why they would be a good candidate for our party members to support, please feel free.

Our by-laws don't really speak to this, but we could probably just hold a disbanding vote, as per the Sublimation Act...

I'm not sure the Sublimation Act would apply without a process in the by-laws.

okay how's this:
"Members of the party may call for a vote on disbanding the party.  Party members will then be notified that a disbanding vote will occur.  A vote on the issue shall take place over 72 hours which may be participated in by those who have been party members prior to the call to disband.  This shall require 2/3 of those voting to pass, in which case the party will be officially disbanded and party members will become registered as independent per the Sublimation Act."

Alright the following proposed by-law on process for disbanding the party is put to a vote. All Populares please vote Aye, Nay, or abstain. This vote will be open for 36 hours.
