I voted no but actually who knows. If I become a pharmacist I think I could live a better life in an area like Fresno or Modesto rather than in OC or the bay area.

My brother lives in Visalia and the weather is not my style.. though the relatively close proximity to the mountains is nice.  He can go up skiing for the day and still come home in the evening.

That could pretty much be all of California, although central valley is obviously closer. The best place to live in the central valley(weatherwise) might be Sacramento since the delta is located to the west and they get the delta breeze on even the hottest days. So Sacramento is closer to 90 everyday in the summer rather than the 100-105 degree heat in Fresno and Bakersfield.

I wouldn't mind living there, if it weren't so darn expensive.  That goes for all of California.

Fresno is very different from what you think of when you think of California. So are the prices. Actually you would fit in well there, considering it is populated by your brethren.

Well, it's better than Bakersfield. Smiley

Haha yeah. I was thinking about professional opportunities in rural areas( mainly due to lower costs) but Bakersfield is definitely off the list. Fresno, Modesto and Stockton are bearable.

The central valley is a horrid wasteland of anglo failure in the motherland that needs to be cleansed.

Do you like sounding like a nazi? Are your political views inspired by Eric Cartman?
