A couple of times. Once, after we were sworn in, we were taken back out to the jury room while the barristers engaged in legal debate. When we came back, the defendents changed their plea to guilty and we got to go home. The other time was a robbery and we found the guy guilty.

It is perfectly legal for a juror to recite the evidence that was read in open court (it is a matter of public record after all). It is illegal for me to discuss the jury deliberations.

This is yet another tradition that we have inherited from Britain.
