That final Saskatchewan provincial map, where you haven't got a date - it looks to be the current boundaries. I'm guessing it's the election before last.

Great work mate!

There are some old ones on the official Atlas of Canada website (or whatever it's called, something like that). You have probably already seen them. I downloaded them as PDFs a couple of weeks ago. I'd like some older ones than they've got... A relative of my wife served for a while in the Parliament as a Liberal MP from Montreal. If I remember correctly, he entered Parliament prior to the Second World War, and left Parliament in the fifties. I found a boundary description of his riding, but haven't found maps that old.

Feel free to make some yourself, I would put them on my site Smiley

This being the precise reason I downloaded them, although as a very long-term project (finishing off Quebec, then probably Western Australia, since there's a state election due there in March, I think and they've had a redistribution, then probably Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, of course NS is a challenge since there are no really detailed maps that are particularly suitable - although I think I've solved this problem by using the federal NS map, which contains most of the relevant info, by the time of done those, the Victorian redistribution will likely be complete, and I'll prioritise that, and then probably the Canadian federal redistribution will be complete and I'll do that, after this, I thought I'd have a crack at the older Canadian federal maps). The work you and Teddy do is fantastic and I think our different styles of mapping all have different strengths which makes them all worthwhile and useful to view as part of a co-operative collection.

Great work on those last maps!

Fascinating to see old ridings in MTL and Toronto.

I was going to say exactly the same thing! Fantastic work, Teddy! And yes, as Hashemite noted, it's incredible to see how sparsely populated some of those parts of Toronto and Montreal were and all the population growth that has occurred tree over the past half century.

Not sure if it's the same in Canada, but I suspect it is. Over here, old maps like that are frequently kept in old collections held by the State Library or Parliamentary Library. Even if it's not at the Parliamentary Library, they often have reciprocal rights and can order items from the State Library and probably scan and email these maps so you have them electronically. If anyone has a close contact who works in Parliament, especially if that contact is on good terms with one of the librarians, they could probably obtain some of those maps relatively easily.
