BBC1 is covering the results (or purporting to do so) from 11:40PM. Doesn't seem to be much coverage scheduled for the day after, as there sometimes is.

Isn't it almost certain that the Tories will lose 1000 seats, perhaps even 1500?

LAB gain Erewash from CON.

The winning party in the Erewash parliamentary constituency has formed government since 1983.

Labour gains North East Derbyshire and is expected to gain South Derbyshire. Very good results in a region that has swung away from them in recent years.

We passed the 500 Tory losses mark in the BBC count with ~90 councils left to count.

Whenever Amber Valley finishes it may end up being one of if not the place with the raw largest tory loss of councilors - redistricting made a mess of the wards, the Tories were at a historic high point, and everyone is up on the ballot. Labour are already fmaking mass flips.
If you count the East Sussex districts as one then Tories lost more than 50 seats there. In fact the Tories had a total meltdown in almost every district touching the South coast.
