Doubt it. Romney is a stronger candidate than McCain, he would not have picked Palin as his running mate

When will this myth die? Have you not learned anything from 2016? The Palin pick was great from McCain, it gave his struggling campaign a huge boost out of the convention and he was leading Obama in the polls until Lehman Brothers happened.

Palin was a 100x smarter pick than the Romney pick of Ryan in 2012, which got the GOP ticket eviscerated by being tied to the Ryan's Medicare vouchers for seniors plan.

That was a standard convention boost. Palin proved to be a blatering idiot who alienated moderates and cost McCain dearly. Studies show that she cost McCain several million votes. He probably would have won IN, NC, FL, NE02 if it weren't for Palin.

Lol sure.

I'd assume she helped him with culturally conservative whites, but hurt him with college-educated voters. Polling showed she helped him in states like North Dakota, at the very least.

^ Lurking variables are hard to perceive.  Our perception of who votes for whom is so pathetically fluid.  Plenty of “college educated voters” liked Palin just fine ... before the party switch of 2016/2018, after all!!

Yeah, of course. I didn't say she repelled every college educated voter.
