Has anyone seen any polling data yet showing how the independent voters divided between Obama and McCain?

CNN is still taking pride in its prediction that John Edwards will take third.

Hmmm...all of Bill Clinton's complaining today about the short span between Iowa and NH and the rumors of campaign staff shakeups could be all for nothing.

I actually feel sick...

For Obama there has to be movement and soon... as things are the margins have remained pretty much static, he needs to start putting on votes and that just doesn't seem to be happening.
Concord is still reporting and is really starting to push for Obama. Hopefully changes will happen soon....

We can hope... c'mon urban precincts with stupidly high turnout! Smiley

So far, that's not really happening.

CNN:  Most college towns haven't been added to the counts yet.

The counter to the "college town" announcement, I guess, is that Manchester and Nashua aren't done reporting yet either, where Obama is down by 15-20%

The recent Hillary spike is from Salem near the Massachusetts border.  They just reported - Hillary +1300 votes there.

How big is Pittsburg county? it looks HUGE on the map..

Pittburg is a city in Coos County.  The city has 900 people, the county has 33,000.

Look for three vote totals: Salem, Hannover, and Durham.

Salem already went for Hillary, 51-27.

It's probably not going to happen for Obama.  25% of Manchester and 50% of Nashua haven't reported and they should buffer against the net Obama votes in the college towns.  Concord is all done and counted.

I like suddenly if Hillary wins NH...Obama is dead...thats far from possible I assure you. We still have SC and Nevada...and every other state that has swung Obama since he won Iowa. Its fine.

That depends on whether Hillary gets a NH bounce.  Plus, Obama was up by an average of 8% in NH before tonight in the polls - are those poll numbers from SC really firm?

Ringde voted against Obama even though it was a College town. We are offically screwed now.

It was closer than Salem though.
