That is the worst post you can find? It's unlikely in the current environment, but suggesting a Clinton +2 state trending rightwards could be competitive does not deserve a post here.

Yes, the leftist/communists Pinochet and Franco fought were arguably worse than Pinochet or Franco themselves. That does not in any way turn the two aforementioned authoritarians into heroic figures- rather, it is simply a case of two morally questionable historical figures battling people that were even worse for their country.

You like Pinochet and Franco?

Trump got a lower share of the vote than Romney. Get back to me when a Republican gets more than 45% of the vote there
