Oh, hey guys. Looks like Biden wasn't even at the Dinner where this situation happened.

I love how all of the sudden all of the "We will never know, it'll be a cloud on Biden" hand-wringing stuff just evaporates into "LOL these charges."

This story didn't even make it 48 hours before fizzling out.

But if he attended by a video message, it’s still possible the video contained something demeaning or offensive about Eva Murray.

Biden's prerecorded message to a crowd of 400-odd politicos, while VP on a ticket, including "by the way, my Senate opponent's niece is only 14 but already has an impressive rack."

I think...we'd have heard about that at the time. Just a hunch.

Joseph R. Biden, Jr.   Democratic        257,539   64.69%
Christine O'Donnell   Republican           140,595   35.31%

There's no way that much went on in this campaign, especially as Biden was running for VP. I doubt Biden even really had a Senate campaign that year in any real sense.

Alternate theory - someone really said that to her, but it was actually someone else who fits Biden's general description?

I do think this is a possibility. 400 people in a crowded ball room, a majority of whom are old white men. Probably not that hard to mix them up.

Joe Biden was the Vice Presidential nominee and the guy her aunt was running against.

Re: Fuzzy, this is actually showing the robustness of the Me Too movement in some ways: really non credible allegations fall apart under the slightest scrutiny. This is like when O'Keefe tried to hire some woman to say Roy Moore molested her as a way of going "LOL the press will publish anything" and the Washington Post discredited it in no time.

This story here, the Eva Murry one, fell apart in 48 hours because it was transparent bulls**t that fell apart the second anyone examined it. This is the system working as intended.
