Would be hilarious if Trump decides to fire Rosenstein tonight.

Guys, guys, did you actually believe that Donald Trump would agree to appoint an investigator who looks into his presidential campaign's ties to Russia just after he fired James Comey because he wouldn't "let it go"??

This is Rosenstein attempting to save his reputation. The possibility of another Saturday Night Massacre (this time including Rosenstein and Mueller) still remains. I guess the latter depends on whether Ivanka will be able to calm her father down now.

It's ironic... knowing what I know about Trump I assume that he must be pretty angry about this latest development. However, in a way Rosenstein did him a favour by appointing Mueller because it takes some of the mounting pressure off the White House.

So, let's wait and see now where this whole thing leads us.

Well, he did run on a platform to instruct his Attorney General to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary. A promise he failed to keep after he entered office.

So, is this tweet to be interpreted as an indirect criticism of Rod Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions, that they didn't appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary? Maybe he should, you know, fire them...
