Racism, mainly. Wilson's opponents in 1912 and 1916 were arguably less racist than him, so that's a relevant point of criticism.

I still voted for Wilson in this poll, although in contrast to the previous Washington/Lincoln and Jefferson/Roosevelt polls it was more of a lesser of two evils choice this time.
