No, ideology and party affiliation are very important, and should be considered. And the problem I have is basically that people who are not playing the game are able to influence the game. This is not like real life where the decisions affect everyone. It only effects those who play the game. And when you have people voting who pay little to no attention to what is going on, dont really involve themselves, but are still able to influence it, I find that unfair to those of us who are trying to play fairly.
When I vote in a Fantasy election I participate in the game. I participate probably not as much as others, but I do.
And where do you draw the line? How often has someone to post in the Fantasy Elections board to be a "active voter"? At least once every three days? Once a week? And who does the tally sheet for all members then?
Or does the number of total posts in the Fantasy board only count instead? But what if someone who had reached this required treshold long ago, limits his acitivities to casting the ballot in the elections, because he hasnīt enough time anymore to be fully involved?
Personally, I think the current regulations are fine. Maybe the number of posts required to become a registered voter could be risen to 50 or something, but that is a point I do not really care about (because I have more than 300

Again, itīs just a game. Thereīs no reason to get too serious about. And I say this as a former player in a RPG that was once literally destroyed because itīs members began to take it too serious (the mentioned RPG didnīt have something to do with politics though).
