I'm surprised V is so popular with Republicans. Sci-fi has always struck me as appealing to a left-leaning crowd. Similarly Friday Night Lights seems like it would attract a more conservative crowd.
You weren't aware of the criticisms that
V is a conservative-leaning, Obama-bashing show? After all, it's about evil aliens who (pretend to) bring hope, change, and free health-care for everyone.
