This country is way too big to have a national stadium. It benefits everyone for games to be played across the country. Otherwise you're going to alienate fans.

I don't disagree, but nothing stipulates that all games must be played in national stadiums. Hong Kong Stadium isn't even the most prominent stadium on the island, much less across the entire city.

There are problems with this proposal of course. This isn't one of them.

Nay, but if this amendment fails I'll be adding the federal capital language in as an amendment.

Amendment as promised.

Quote from: Amendment offeted
Section 3: Stadium Requirements

1. The National Stadium must be located within the borders of Nyman the federal capital and be accessible within a half-mile walk of a public transit center.

2. The National Stadium must have no fewer than 75150,000 seats and be constructed in an all-seater format.

3. The National Stadium must have an all-grass playing surface suitable for both American Grid Iron Football and Association Football soccer.

4. The National Stadium must be convertible to host Olympic opening ceremonies, conventions, concerts, tennis courts, religious services, and public speeches.

5. The complex surrounding the National Stadium must include a mixture of business and commercial space, public green space, and affordable housing.

6. There shall be no minimum parking requirement for the National Stadium.

...

I also want to ask the Senate if the public transport option may be overly restrictive given there may not be a public transport system wherever we end up building this.

Aye.

If Peace is going to eat up my hard-earned surplus we may as well spend it on fun stuff.
