The love for the Liberal Democrats is rather nauseating. I can understand boring liberals like The Mikado supporting them, but the rest of you ought to know better.

Well, yeah, obviously Labour's not as good in government as in opposition. I like Brown a lot better than Blair; he may be boring, but I'm not going to hold that against him. But the Liberal Democrats, though they have a few good positions, are Moderate Hero on some things and right of the Tories on the rest. If you liked Blair, you'll love Clegg.

Obviously I wouldn't support Labour in every constituency, but the average caliber of the Labour candidate is far better than that of the average Liberal Democrat candidate.
