Why on earth would any one of proper mind and spirit have ever supported this guy in the first place?

Can anyone give me a coherent rationale as to why they or others might have found him to be an appealing candidate other than the fact that his last name is Bush?

He believes in moral government and a faith-based intitiative, and he was electable
ludicrous. like anyone doesn't believe (or claim to believe)in "moral government"... faith-based initiative - merely an obvious backdoor around the first amendment. and who really cares about that anyway?  he was electable... apparently by the skin of his teeth anyway.

next.

Obviously you will say ludacris to any answer, but I will continue:

1.) He supports outsourcing of jobs
this is why you want him elected or not
2.) He defeated a very popular governor and showed his campaigning skills
kinda irrelevant to being president, no
3.) He had experience as the governor of a large state
ooh
4.) He was not John McCain
nor was anyone else in the world other than John McCain of course

5.) He was good at appealing to the base and reaching to moderates
based on what  - the fact that he was golfing buddies with the conservative democrat who was majority leader in the Texas HOuse?

Anymore?  Or are my attempts futile?
