This seems silly honestly, higher interest rates may be needed on some loans, also interest rate caps are incredibly dumb. Not to mention this could probably be abused to block the power of the Fed to raise rates when it is needed to combat inflation.

... It sounds like your [S019] old proposal to expressly have higher tax rates on the poor.

You mean this one?

Tax Reform Act

The estate tax in Lincoln is abolished
The death tax in Lincoln is abolished
The inheritance tax in Lincoln is abolished
Lincoln property taxes shall be cut by 30%
Lincoln sales taxes shall be reduced by 2%
Lincoln gas taxes shall be reduced by 5%
Lincoln state income tax shall have three brackets
Brackets with rates:
Greater than $150,000: 25%
$50,000-$150,000: 15%
Less than $50,000: 45%
Lincoln shall raise taxes on all welfare benefits by 70%

I hope to get some conservative cosponsors to back my bill to give tax cuts by making the poor, pay their fair share

You know folx, I too find it cool to necro old posts. Perhaps I should necro the one where you supported Fraser Anning, perhaps.....

Anyways I am not going to cave to these stupid personal attacks, this bill is bad and my mind is not changing.

Well for starters I think you need to look up the definition of Necroposting. Additionally pointing out the flaws in a position aren't personal attacks. It's pointing out the shortcoming of the position taken. Feel free to "Necro" the post i think you are referring to, I think you will find it doesn't prove the point you think you are trying to make and actually you have been triggered.

Be Well.
