y'all showed up late for your homework. the vote itself was to run for 24 hours and literally no one voted within that time frame. Of course, that is also partially my fault.  I set the vote duration at shorter than usual.
However...
I will start a new vote now while retrospectively treating you as having already voted. 48 hours more...

Mr. Speaker, I was uninformed and unaware of this 2nd round of voting had begun. It appears many of our fellow delegates were unaware and/or uninformed of this also. Being a new delegate many of the procedures are of course new to myself and quite possibly some of our esteemed colleagues. Perhaps the Subject of the thread should be updated to reflect this updated nature of the vote "Election of Speaker & Deputy Speaker"

Now to address the current question before the Chamber. I believe it would be best that both the speaker and deputy speaker be elected by the chamber. However there is merit in having a competent individual appointed.

My vote for the motion in question is:
[ x ] Elected
