Again with this horrid dichotomy. I don't know enough about him to make any real judgements, though he seems nice enough not to be labeled a horrible person. Still, not being a horrible person does not make him a freedom fighter.
Aye.  Who do we have to blame for the starting of this either/or, black/white, on/off trend?  We know who to blame for keeping it alive, they sign their names next to it. Grin  But cursing* the originators of the trend might make me feel better.

(and yes, I know there are perfectly reasonable times to use an A/B dynamic for polls, but this aint it.  Plus, the whole idea of polling the message board about specific users and whether or not they are an asshole is a dangerous one.  I'm a self diagnosed forum whore and have been for a decade or so, this kind of thing is never healthy for the message board and goes a long way in explaining all the animosity we see here (of course the topic of the message board tends to force discussions to a personal level faster than say, a message board about being a beekeeper would.  Hell, I bet they can be assholes too.).  I'm guessing age goes a long way in explaining the behavior as well.  Of course there are perfect exceptions to that statement, I know it's not universally true.  There are some great young posters and some old dudes that act like they're 14.

But I have no point and I'm certainly not telling anybody to stop.  I don't even care.  It's just this old guys opinion on the subject.)
