Much like Barves fans, Cardinals fans are just insufferable.
which successful franchises fans are, in your opinion, not insufferable?

(though I'm not sure if we can even call the Braves a successful franchise, what with them only winning the "big one" once in the last 60+ years.)

EDIT: Just want to note the irony of a Massachusetts AV calling anyone else’s sports fans insufferable
to be fair, "insufferable" isn't a strong enough word to properly describe Boston sports fan.

Idk what's up with all these easterners in this thread who seem unjustifiably confident in their under-100 wild card meme teams.
I'm not confident (as a Cards fan).  Hope, sure.  We're playing with house money, it's one game.  If a hitter or two is hot (and many Cardinal bats are, you might have noticed) or if the pitcher is just on (ours is a vet that has been here many times), anything can happen in a one game playoff.
Which is stupid for baseball, at least make it a best of three.

close game, why are the fans so out of it?  I suppose it is weird for Dodger fan to watch the end of a game from their seats and not on the radio in their car in the parking lot.

Cardinals surprisingly fired Mike Shildt today.
unless they have someone better lined up (or maybe if the players hated him) I'm not a fan of this move.  He made the playoffs with a very young team and a heavily injured pitching staff.  Sports orgs are too quick to fire coaches.
