The easy loans is one of the big reasons why there are WAY too many kids that go to college that shouldn't be wasting their time and money.  It's one of the big reasons college costs 700% more than it did 30 years ago too.  "guaranteed loans" are always a bad idea for the lender and often for the borrower as well.

Perhaps there is a reason to keep the DoEdu, but student loans certainly ain't it.
