I guess the threats and intimidation worked. Nissan was running radio ads saying workers would be back ''picking cotton'' if they unionized
ahhahahaah, yeah....'cause unions would never use threats and intimidation to get something....oh man, you guys are a laugh riot!

Of course they aren't as violent as they were in the 00s-70s (though.still.violent), you've got to admit the language (threats and intimidation) he used is ironic....since that had been their MO for the better part of a century.

wait, you think unions raising middle class wages is the most desperately needed thing in America?  Is this like one of those "Teachers are the real heroes in America" kind of thing? where "teachers" can be replaced by whatever group are the "victims" today and need a PR boost?

exactly, or "stay at home moms" or "nurses" or "those willing to say online that the thing America needs most are higher wages for the middle class".....they are the real heroes.

points scored!

but again, all I was saying was that it was a bit rich to bash anti-union peeps for using "threats and intimidation".  It's like a German American telling an Irish American to check his privilege...or a S.Baptist telling a Mormon that they have a sketchy history with African Americans.

again with the "sacred cows"?

Great job WAY over defending against that ruthless joke though.  Impressive, really.  The unions in this country need all the help they can get....they are the real heroes! Smiley

Y'know, IF you ever decided to actually explain your arguments
again, I was just pointing out some funny phrasing used by Mondale.  Which seems to freak some of you the hell out....but reruns, even good ones, get old after awhile.

good day sir
