Easily the best non-North American, non-Brit hard rock band.

(I added the "North" part to American because one could make a damn good case for Rush, even though I'm less of a fan)

Depends heavily on what era we're talking about. Positive overall.
Really?  Seems to me they sound pretty much the exact same now as they did 1977.  That's not necessarily a bad thing.  And who doesn't love Back in Black?  Communists and Nancys, that's who.

Well to be honest I haven't really listened to that much of the "newer" stuff and by that I mean anything after Who Made Who...why yes, that was in the mid 80s.  When an AC/DC song I've never heard before comes on the radio you just know it's AC/DC (or one of those bands that's going out of their way to sound as much like them as possible, I'm looking at you Jackyl).

Even more annoying is the practice of classic rock radio format driving the same dozen+ songs into our head every hour on the hour. I could die quite happy if I never here You Shook Me All Night Long again. That's a song I loved in high school, college and law school, but stopped enjoying quite so much after litterally the 3000th+ time I heard it played on the radio.
It's why I almost never listen to music on the radio.  It sucks at picking songs I like.
