How about have both? Public holidays being good and all that.

I'd prefer not to make a national holiday out of 9/11... It's enough of a cheapened spectacle as it is.

Holidays should focus on the positive, not the negative, IMO.

I highly doubt that 9/11 would be remembered as a "holiday" as much as it would a remembrance day.
