Too early to say. If an El Nino develops that could really slow down the Atlantic hurricane season. But 1992 was an El Nino year. We only had one major hurricane, Andrew, which struck Florida as a Cat 5. Then again, an active year like 2010 had 12 hurricanes and not ONE SINGLE hurricane hit the U.S.

It's all a game of chance.
