Because my parents had me watch old movies, I used to think that the world was originally in black and white, and each color was individually and separately invented.


I thought the same thing. I also thought, from movies and TV shows, that::

1. Punching someone didn't get you in trouble
and 2. Women only had sex because men wanted them to and for conception because they always showed women rejecting men's advances.
