I don't know about anyone else, but as someone who really hasn't had one set person to support throughout this nominating process, I find myself disgusted at the relentless attacks on Governor Romney that I see on this forum.

Newt Gingrich is clearly a candidate with baggage and that is an understatement. Rick Santorum would be acceptable to me. Other than that you have Ron Paul, who is only a "contender" because he is anti-war and for legalizing drugs. Period. All the young people I talk to who like Ron Paul are against the wars and want legalized marijuana. Period. There is nothing else. Why else would young people support a 76 year old Republican?

Governor Romney worked at Bain Capitol. Do you know how lucky any person would be to have a job like that? A career in business? I would be dancing a jig if I knew I'd have a job at a place like that. But it seems that the liberals enjoy painting "Bain" as some sort of dark and sinister corporation.

They also attacked Romney for saying "Corporations are People". Well, let me tell you something. I've been working as a waiter for a year and a half. I am one insignificant cog in the whole corporate spiral. But in a way, I understand what he means. If the corporation failed, my store would close, I'd be out of work.

But to my fellow Republicans, PLEASE, enough attacking Romney. He will be our nominee and the choice between the handout, no hard work-entitlement President Barack Obama and between a successful businessman turned Governor Mitt Romney is no contest.

It is a dark and sinister corporation. It makes money by destroying smaller companies and firing people. Do you not see any sort of moral problem with that?

It's called Capitalism.

See, that's what America represents. Remember the Cold War? Communism vs. Capitalism? We would have had a nuclear war to prevent the destruction of it?

So, using your logic, America used a nuclear deterrent to protect something you're opposed to.

Capitalism doesn't inherently need to be evil you twat. There are plenty of ways to make money and grow a company that don't involve the destruction of other people's livelihoods.

Now look here, suddenly the anger comes out. I'm just having a discussion, no need to be vulgar or angry. (Good thing I didn't do something really over the line, like step on a spider or something or I would have been left to hang! Smiley)

My point is, when I see news reporters ask the "Wall Street Protesters" who they want elected President, and they reply, "Mao Zedong" or they say, "This is CAPITALISM and we've had enough!" I find myself yearning for the days of J. Edgar Hoover when these problems would disappear. Why? Because these people are...for all intents and purposes...communists.

Communism is very dangerous. That's why there were times mankind was on the brink of nuclear destruction over it. The fact that so many people seem to dismiss (Ah yeah, the old days when communism could have caused a nuclear war, lol I have a communist friend all is well, ect ect) it, makes me shutter to think.

Just imagine, we have a liberal Democratic President who liberals are only lukewarm about. That makes me wonder, if someone as far left as Obama will kill bin Laden, keep GITMO open, and pull out of Iraq on George Bush's timeline, and oh yeah, be officially opposed to same sex marriage (that's a fad though, it will pass, see Earth Day: 1970s), then what in the hell do they want in a liberal President?
