Personally, I don't think Biden had any real direct impact.

Biden's purpose was to weaken the Republicans' attack on Obama's "lack of experience". Biden was able to calm some people down....and to retain people that had already been leaning softly toward Obama.

I wouldn't name any specific state here, it's just a general effect.
