Are you being serious right now?

No, but if it were a shooting, the gun nuts would be explaining how guns have nothing to do with the high death number.

This is where I obligatorily have to step in and state, once more, that the gun is only one cog in the murder machine. The real problem lies in the fact that we, as a nation, condone violence like this in the first place, and no matter what we do to control guns, violent crime will continue to spiral out of control so long as we refuse to correct our society. It's what's happening to Britain, and it's what will happen to us.

Why do you think there were no deaths in this incident?

As fortunate as it is that no one died, the fact remains that our society lets things like this happen. For however wide the gap is in their severity, this incident and the shooting at Sandy Hook were a product of the exact same problem.

Perhaps.

Still doesn't change the fact that large death tolls are far more likely on a shooting spree than a stabbing spree.

You can kill people with a knife. Now, let's say someone had a gun. There may be a chance those two people not end up in critical condition. You seem to think only the bad guys can carry guns. No one is going to go on random shootings or stabbings, if good people are armed.
