Obama should come out with a statement saying that in America we have something called freedom of speech. If Muslims would like to make anti-Christian movies and put it up on Youtube, they are free to do so.

What they need to understand is that Americans won't feel good about it, but you have the RIGHT to do it if you wish to. I am not defending the guy who made the anti-muslim movie, just his right to do what he wants to do.
Agreed in full...well, I don't think most Americans would care at all, hell, a lot of us would find it funny....but other than that, agreed in full.

Especially here in Western Europe, we're quite used to the Christian churches being less and less popular and being subjected to insults and ridicule. (Some of it legitimate, mind you, but that's not the point.)

But you still don't see conservative Catholic Bavarians joining angry mobs and killing people over it.

Not a partcularly smart thing to do, but it's their right and I want to protect that right.
