I went through London last Sunday.....4 days before Europe's airspace was (more or less) completely closed.

Happy I wasn't traveling transatlantic this last weekend...

In a similar situation here in the U.S., the rental car companies would be doing a bonanza business. 

Oh they are in Europe as well, definitely.

It has also done way, way, way more to reduce greenhouse gas emissions than years of conferences and talk have done.

I'm sure the millions of people stranded at airports will take comfort in knowing that.
