Well, with all due respect, I certainly don't appreciate the fact that you, as a DA member, have decided to buck the DA member already in the running, because of your own personal reasons.

There's a certain respect people should have, I think, when it comes to party members running for office. You all just had a huge argument in the Democratic Alliance over a primary for the Mideast Senate seat, with candidates refusing to drop out and first because of their own personal agendas and set(s) of pride. I'm disappointed to see you do the same.

To be frank, it's just kind of a dick move, IMO, to cockblock your own party members already in the running. But do what you like. (Que the DA members that want to make it seem like this is okay with them even if they have private reservations. 3..2..1..)

I knew this fat cow would show up and stink the building.

What the hell is wrong with you?

For starters, he is acting like his opinion on DA internals is at all important. But mostly the fact that this guy is calling afleitch a dick because he doesn't want to bend over for Bacon King.

Well I disagree with his opinion on the ticket....but what's with the personal insults? Can't you behave in a somewhat mature manner?

Now now...let's not start talking about leaving the party over this. I really don't see a major problem here. This is a political internet game, not to mention that the party has no disadvantage through this campaign.

Extreme partisanship encourages precisely the type of zombie-like behavior that we're supposedly fighting against. There's no need to line up behind the party like there's no alternative.

Afleitch,

I'm sorry I didn't preference you. I was absent the last few days, and I had no knowledge of your candidacy. I believe that I glanced at it and forgot later, and when I voted, It was too late. However, you have my utmost support at this point. Bacon King is a great guy, but so was Hubert Humphrey, and I don't think that the JCP deserves a fifth term in power. Good luck, and I sincerely hope you win.

Sincerely,

NiK

Didn't you look at the ballot before you voted? Smiley

Congratulations! It's official Smiley

I'm stunned by your margin, but as you said yourself, miracles can indeed happen! Cheesy
