Rumor on the convention floor is that the McCain supporters are going to switch to Huckabee in order to prevent Romney from winning.

People really, really hate him apparently.

I wonder where Paul's supporters will go?

That was my suspicion.

Apparently the only reason the WV GOP held a convention was to get out of debt, which they have succeeded at.

McCain's surrogate is formally asking his delegates to go to Huckabee:

If this is a sign for things to come, it's going to be a long night for Mitt...

Local TV is reporting Huckabee got Paul supporters to come over to his side in WV by promising them 3 national delegates.

I'm torn... I'd like Huck to still be viable but at the same time Mitt needs to win everything he can to take out Mac... decisions, decisions...

Why do you want Huck to be viable? All he's doing is hindering Romney (Slightly). Support Romney

I like the guy, keeps things interesting, etc. Strategically it'd be helpful for him to die though

The lack of a New Jersey call is rather intriguing...

Haven't read through all 12 pages of comments, but does anyone know if there's an up to the minute map of who's won each state (for either party)?  I'm a very visual person.  Wink

The NY Times is best, but they lag a little

Go Huck!

Huckabee is doing surprisingly well IMO... highly competitive in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri and Oklahoma

And he won Arkansas and West Virginia of course

Uh, I don't see anything particularly 'surprising' about it -most of these states are in the South, and thus these would be precisely the states I expect him to perform at least decently.

He wasn't expected to do this well if you look at the polling in these states.

And how accurate has all that polling been throughout this season, thus far?

Uhh, that doesn't mean it wasn't surprising when you look at what was expected to happen.

What are you looking at?  Romney had a slim two point lead over Huckabee last time I looked.  Tongue

Nevermind - it changed
