No, I favor a system whereby every state is given 369 electoral votes because that's how many there were in 1876 which is 100 years after we signed the Declaration of Independence. States with a "d" an "o" or a "g" in their name would get another 100 because dogs are man's best friend. Then they would have to divide them according to the percentage of vote the opposing party received in the previous election, and then they would multiply by the number of counties minus the number of Governor's the state has had - UNLESS the Lt. Governor and Governor are elected on a ticket, in which case half the electoral votes are assigned based upon the votes of elected municipal officials. If the state has a National Park in it, they get another 25. Only if it's National Military Park then they lose 30.
But really, just trash the whole system and use popular vote. Or IRV if people don't freak out about it too much.
