Fox is concerned with it; I think CNN is covering it too.

I'm guessing they all will.  I just know FOX and MSNBC are, since they were covering it when I flipped through.  CNN was on Haiti, but I'm guessing they'll switch over in 10-20 minutes or so.

I seriously doubt CNN will cover it as much as the other two will.

Yea, CNN has video of Anderson Cooper saving children from food riots. They have better things to cover.

AP is quickest and most reliable as always, FWIW.

Chelsea -26.45%, marking like the third remotely semi-promising sign for Coakley tonight, and not nearly enough of one.

It's too young to know whether black voters stayed home or not -- and considering that the precincts before have had lots of Brown votes, it's pretty obvious that black areas probably are largely not in yet.  J. J., man, seriously.

I'm agreeing with Howie Brown (whoever that is) in calling this for Brown.  I mean, waiting until we had enough Boston to make it an appropriate call wouldn't be fun. Wink

Alcon, Fox reported that the was low African American turnout.

Oh, well if Fox said it

How the hell do you write a concession speech for a night like this?

Who's happier, Mr. Moderate or NOM?

I'm pretty sure Moderate voted for Coakley.

Democrats still seem not to get what's going on.

Republicans don't either, of course (at least not what I see), but Scott Brown is benefitting from Democrats in this particular situation.

Just IMO.

So what exactly is going on, wise one?

We'll see. There's a few more things that still have to play out.

I've posted the special election result here - with county map (unofficial with updates forthcoming).  I don't think Middlesex will hold for Brown as Cambridge and Somerville still have a lot of precincts to report.

Huge turnout for a single race on a snowy January day here.

Dave

I'll love you forever if you tell us who you voted for Cheesy

Why isn't Brown giving a speech about what he wants to accomplish in DC?

Probably because he knows he won't accomplish anything.

Just go to bed already, and while your at it, sleep till 2011.

You do understand that all you've done is delay anything we want to do. You guys still have no power whatsoever.

Somewhere, Ted Kennedy is looking up at all this and fuming.

Looking up at this? Are you implying that he is in hell? Huh

That is exactly what he's implying. Van Der Blub is what we call a "troll".
