What's your (presumably pro-choice?) answer to this hypothetical Tchenka? What are you trying to learn by asking pro-lifers specifically?
I'm interested in getting to the root of pro-lifer morality schools of thought, other than the biblical hardliners. Is the bottom line that it's wrong to kill a sentient baby? Is the most important part the implications on the baby's soul or lack of soul, and not the death of the living being itself? Are there people here that would argue only human abortion is immoral but cat/dog/vampire abortion isn't wrong?
I want to see people's answers, but moreso I want to get to the bottom of what the most important factors in coming to those conclusions are. If this thread doesn't do well, I might come back to this in a new thread with a more general approach in a month or two.
