Oh no baby what is you doin?

She's not wrong though, sadly. I mostly like Obama but he did some terrible things, as do most presidents.

Literally the only good thing about Obama was him droning everyone.
This is sarcasm... yes?

By the way it’s stunning that Democrats are choosing Omar over Obama and shows how far left extreme they are getting
Well, we ARE only 20 months away from President-Elect Sanders after all, so...

LOL @ people who think Omar will lose because of this. This is Minneapolis, the voters are left wing and super progressive and probably share the same views about Israel that she does!! And about Obama!

I'm not sure if you noticed Obama's extremely high approvals with Democrats. I doubt that your average democrat is going to prefer Omar to Obama.

The Democrats are not Republicans. You're allowed to dislike and criticize major party figures choices without being ostracized. (Although Democrats and liberals certainly can and do argue with each other.) It's possible to approve of Obama and still think he made major missteps. (Having Trump to compare him with really helps in this regard.)

These comments are not really that surprising. They come directly from the Jimmy Dore , Kyle Kulinski and some other hard core progressives. The fact is the Justice Democrats was founded by TYT so its not really much surprising Justice Democratic Representatives believe in this.

Then when you add in all the comments she has made over the years it becomes ever less surprising that she believes this .

Just so the tecord is straight, Jimmy Dore in the last 2 or 3 years has had MAJOR disagreenents with Justice Democrsts. Things are mostly amicable, but he's politically unique enough that he shouldn't be lumped in with TYT, Kulinski, Ring Of Fire, Rational National, etc.

Kyle Kulinski is basically Jimmy Dore, the only difference is Dore advocates voting third party while Kyle doesnt.

Other than that they are basically the same.
Despite being at about the same place as Kyle and other progressives on the political spectrum and also supporting Bernie's movement, Jimmy Dore is even moreso anti-establishment and anti-Obama and not nearly as anti-Trump. He will tear progressives to shreds on his show and leave them for dead if they take the establishment position on even one single issue or defemd Obama on nearly anything. He mocks liberals for harping on the "possibly / probably fake Russian collusion" stuff, though be may have begun to come aroumd to that just a bit recently.

He's basically a political purist, and has a hard time tolerating politicians who are wrong about some things but right about others. If he were an actual politician and not a pundit, he wouldn't be capable of working across party lines or compromising on legislation with the corporate / establishment democrats.

Kyle just posted this video today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oy-1Omix5DA
Most progressives WHEN ASKED will tell you that Obama did some messed up stuff that we hate, but we don't go out of our way to mention it constantly and crucify him 24/7 for it like Jimmy Dore does. Kulinski posted this video today because "how good/bad was Obama" is a current topic of discussion thanks to Ilhan Omar. Dore trash talked Obama this week, and last week, and the week before that, and the week before that, amd so on.

The fact that Ilhan Omar still has a job keeps me tossing and turning every night.
Lol!!! We have Trump and his racist swamp monsters, white supremacist representative Steve King, and now some dude in New Zealand slaughtering dozens of muslims for the sole reason that they were muslims. But it's the "anti-jewish" (muslim) woman who is trying to keep congressmen and senators honest that's keeping you up at night.

She speaks some uncomfortable "truths" but she does it so inartfully. Her bluntness makes it easy to paint her into a corner and turn it around on herself. She might not care because she is already the victim of so much hate and suspicion before she even opened her mouth solely based on her religion and how she looks. But what she's doing is not sustainable, she'll flame out if she doesn't get better about how she levels criticisms.
This is accurate.

Okay, let me get this straight. Because I have expressed my hatred for a member of the Democratic Party, I must apparently:

  • Support President Donald Trump
  • Support Rep. Steve King
  • Support mass shootings against innocent Muslims

Even though I myself do not like the President, nor the embarrassment to my state that is referred to as "Steve King," and believe it or not, I don't like supporting the killings of people whom I disagree with. I know, that might be hard to handle, especially that last one, but it's pretty crazy how not every single person who doesn't agree with you is a strawman, isn't it? Breaking news: you can hate more than one thing. It's not impossible. I can hate the KKK, I can hate ISIS, I can hate the Westboro Baptist Church, and I can hate all of them at once.
I think you misunderstood my post.

What I'm trying to say is that out of all the threats out there - which I am sure you are not a proponent of - the one "threat" that keeps you up at night is Ilhan Omar. I'm saying that your list of priorities for what to worry about or be troubled by is (in my opinion) illogical and out of touch with reality.
