I am a former Republican, so I feel entitled to comment: The House should pass a spending bill to keep the government open, they should stop playing all these shutdown games. If the hard right of the caucus wants to remove Johnson over it, then he should do what McCarthy failed to do, and make a deal with Democrats and give them big ticket bills to be voted on in exchange for staying in power. I think that would make everyone happy.
