If Warner wanted to be President, he would've ran this year instead of running for Senate, IMO.

No, it was better for him to wait; he wouldn't have been able to compete with Hillary and Obama.

What makes you say that?  He'd be a far stronger candidate than Obama.  And if Obama could  beat Hillary, why couldn't Warner?

He'd be overshadowed by the rockstars.  In a Warner v. Hillary race, Warner should win, but he couldn't compete with Obama, even though he's a better candidate.

Yeah, but it'd be tough for a Warner/Webb ticket, since they're Virginia's 2 Senators.

Is Schweitzer term-limited?  If not, he's in a good position for 2016; but if he is, then he'd have been out of office for 4 years, and would've faded from view.

One can change his residency between the vote and the meeting of the Electoral College.
