I did indeed look at the tickets.  I assume you think that Smith will swing Oregon?

maybe i can't count either but i see a 270/268 dem-victory

And I agree with what Joe McBloomberg stated earlier:

For the last time, Gordon Smith, Susan Collins, Norm Coleman, and John Sununu are not going to be VP picks.

Auctually, you need to learn to count. Put that map through the electoral calculator and you will find that it comes up with the following result:

Clinton/Vilsack: 270 electoral votes
McCain/Smith:   268 electoral votes

Like I said before, you need to learn to count.
