That's because the state-level presidential bets are almost exclusively made by people who know and follow politics closely. The national bet data is hugely skewed by: (1) MAGA lovers with conservative media diets who can't imagine how Trump can lose, and (2) liberal Democrats buying emotional insurance by betting on Trump.
