Hmm? Haley got married to her Methodist husband in a Methodist church eight years before she ran for office. Granted joining your spouse's religion doesn't always indicate genuine belief, but it doesn't seem to be political to me.

Anyway, the deputy speaker of the state house here, Upendra Chikuvula, is a Hindu.
