So, all this bill does is cut taxes for certain "underdeveloped" areas, yes? That seems like a rather insufficient way of stimulating economic development compared to other things we could be doing. I don't mind the idea, but this shouldn't be our one-and-only solution to the economic downturn we're facing.

Aye, for the sake of debate, I suppose. But I'm not crazy about the bill.

What are we defining as underdeveloped areas, anyway?

I am strongly in favor of this bill.  Such measures have worked in many American cities and I am confident it will work nationwide.

I do agree that it seems like a bright idea as part of a larger plan for economic recovery.
